After the relapse, Vaani has completed Block 1 of chemotherapy with clear cerebrospinal fluid tests, but her bone marrow still remains affected. We have embarked on Block 2 of chemotherapy with the hope that immunotherapy in June will yield the results needed for her transplant.

Despite extensive searches, we have yet to find a perfect match for her bone marrow transplant. In this dire situation, my wife or I will be her donor, as we share a 50% match with Vaani. However, she can undergo this life-saving transplant only once we have procured the funds. We have a window of just four weeks to raise the entire amount.
